Barcelona, you know, owes much of its charm to the works of Gaudi.
And for a good reason: they are just amazing!
I personally think that this artist / architect is really underestimated (especially compared to artists such asPicasso or Dali) for both the innovative capacity and the fecundity of his work, but I also think that in order to truly appreciate them you should see his creations live.
Having studied Gaudì, he intrigued me a lot (basically I came to Barcelona for the third time only to see its works), but I must say I was really amazed when I saw them live, especially the Sagrada Familia and Batllò home are absolutely spectacular!
PS. A tip for those planning a visit to Barcelona: take the tickets online with reservations for the day and time to go to see the monuments, it's very useful and you will avoid hours in a row (for the Sagrada familia, when I went there, there was a wait of five hours just to make the ticket)
